SMS Consent Evidence

Angelcat Leads, a product of ANGELCAT LLC, collects operational SMS consent only through a hosted onboarding form reached from an emailed signed link.

Brand note: The legal entity is ANGELCAT LLC and the product is Angelcat Leads. The EIN documentation currently contains a typographical error showing ANGLECAT LLC; ANGELCAT LLC is working with the IRS to correct that spelling. Customer-facing materials use Angelcat Leads and ANGELCAT LLC.

**Initial live form, unchecked**Captured from the production signed onboarding link before any interaction. The Primary SMS field is optional and the SMS consent checkbox starts unchecked.

**Email-only completion path**Captured after submitting the live onboarding form without a phone number and without SMS consent. The tenant completes onboarding with email notifications only.

How opt-in works

1. Angelcat emails a signed onboarding link.

The invited business owner or authorized operator opens the onboarding page directly from that email.

2. The recipient chooses whether to enable SMS.

The SMS field is optional, the checkbox is unchecked by default, and SMS consent is separate from account activation.

3. If SMS is selected, the recipient reviews the disclosure and opts in.

The consent screen links to the public Privacy Policy and Terms at the point of opt-in.

4. Angelcat stores proof only for opted-in SMS numbers.

For SMS opt-ins, the system records the phone number, disclosure text, timestamp, IP address, user agent, and onboarding session before any SMS is sent. If SMS is skipped, the tenant is activated with email notifications only.
